About the Client:
One of the leading and well-established manufacturing plant of Chlor alkali which operates across GCC region
Position Title: Lab Chemist
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 400 OMR depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation, transportation, and OT if applicable
Job Location: Sohar, Oman
Job Description:
- Set up test equipment in the lab to complete specific procedures.
- Perform complex chemical tests on materials and samples, then log and analyze the data revealed by lab tests.
- Manage inventory supplies by keeping track of materials used and ordering new items.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on the lab equipment to spot problems and report issues to the Lab Supervisor/Plant Manager.
- Always follow safety standards and protocols and keep the working area clean and organized.

Qualifications:
- Male, 26 to 45 years old
- Bachelors in Chemical Engineering is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry
- Open to overseas candidates
