Your Responsibilities Will Include
Must be able to demonstrate notable experience on similar large projects with regard to the tendering of Consultancy Services including Provisional Sum/ Prime Cost procurement management in Construction Works (preparation of Tender Documents, managing the Tender process (preparation of Tender Addendum), Tender Evaluation and negotiation, preparation of Post Tender Clarifications and preparation of Contract Documents/ supplementary amendments) and Contract Management (including managing Consultant and Contractor payment applications, and dispute resolution and Final Accounts, administering Change management systems, responding to Claims and providing contractual advice throughout Projects).
Analyze and recommend procurement strategies for project components, and create and monitor the execution of the approved procurement plans with suppliers and in line with project timelines and requirements.
Play the leading and pivotal role in supporting the project executives, leaders and project directors in monitoring and controlling the performance of contracted services to ensure services are effective, meet statutory requirements and deliver the desired outcomes.
Drafting, reviewing, recommending revisions to, and, approving all required contractual documentation.
Review contractual terms and conditions to ensure compliance with procurement requirements and conducts fee negotiations.
Drafts and revises policies and procedures as necessary.
Oversee and review all contractual and commercial requirements as fit for the projects.
Coordinate all matters regarding contract administration, claims, disputes, contract interpretation and cost analysis.
Develop, implement, and manage systems and procedures for the monitoring of external and internal contracts to ensure that contractual compliance issues are resolved both timely and effectively.
Lead the continuous improvement of commercial processes with the Cost Management Consultant through refining contract formulation activities, systems and procedures.
Responsible for all financial contract management activities and Risk assessment.
Key Relationships
Supervision Received – Project Director/ Senior Project Manager.
Supervision Given – Contract Administrators; Administrative support staff, Quantity Surveyors.
Internal Contacts – All employees in Division; other departments like internal/ External Audit.
External Contacts – Clients’ Contract Administrators; Suppliers.

المهارات
Qualifications:
➢ Shall be qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying/ Commercial Management or equivalent from an accredited internationally recognized university.
➢ must be 10 years chartered by a recognized international body such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Minimum twenty-five (25) years experience of which ten (10) years in Contract / Commercial / Procurement Management discipline.
➢ Experience in FIDIC contracts.
➢ Experience with pre-& post contract experience.
➢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
➢ Experience working within a consultancy environment.
➢ Previously worked in a client-facing role.
