The Role

The successful office manager is an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties and executive support-related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible, and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Responsibilities

As an Office Manager, you will:

  • Organize office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety
  • Develop intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision, and task delegation
  • Support company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff
  • Assign and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and bookings
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment
  • Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Assist clients in finding their way around the office
  • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, and taking notes
  • Answer, forwarding, and screening phone calls
  • Contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required

Eligibility Criteria

  • Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience, preferably, 3 to 4 years of experience in a corporate company
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Two to three years’ experience in an office setting manager
  • Proficient with office software
