JOB PURPOSE:

Focus and manage the sourcing and buying of goods/materials through supporting in establishing world-class strategic plans and efficient sourcing processes for products. This position includes a high interaction level with different functions within the organization working in a collaborative and highly energetic environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards, and Reports

Coordinate with the Function Head in the development of the value buying and contract manufacturing function policies, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent application and ease of operations. Prepare the reports and highlight the major accomplishments, issues, and actions.

Budget

Work closely with the Function Head in the preparation and consolidation of the value buying and contract manufacturing function budget.

Sourcing and Supplier Selection

Oversee the identification, evaluation, and selection of new local suppliers for products to attain the best value for money and source products with international quality standards.

Contract Management

Ensure the process of formulating, negotiating, and finalizing contracts and agreements with the Function head and stakeholders by proposing and attaining the most advantageous terms on contracts to ensure preserving the best interest and profit.

Procurement and Purchasing

Support the head of the function on the optimization of the procurement process by improving procurement and supply chain processes and controls to ensure efficient procurement and purchasing processes and maximum cost savings.

Quality Control

Involve in the urge, and help if needed, with quality control teams to inspect raw material and imported goods’ quality to ensure their compliance with quality standards and international quality requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

University degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields

Minimum Experience:

4-6 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations, procurement, Raw Material buying, or related fields in the FMCG industry is a must

Language Requirements:

• Arabic: Advanced
• English: Advanced
