JOB PURPOSE

Diagnosing functionality issues, conducting repair work, coordinating a staff of mechanics, troubleshooting problems, lubricating machinery components, and keeping work logs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support technicians in equipment maintenance and repair.

Performed routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operated efficiently. Repaired, replaced and adjusted brakes and brake pads.

Communicated effectively with customers on future problems and repairs that might need to be addressed. Disassembled engines and repaired or replaced defective parts.

Trained in analyzing engine malfunctions.

Used industrial truck to transport metal scrap from knock out department to scrap yard

Installed, maintained and repaired machinery

Welded and painted machinery as scheduled

Operated a press that produced brake components

Performed snag and hand grinding of brake components

Responsible for developing, recommending and performing preventive maintenance procedures like cleaning, vacuuming equipment, changing filters and oiling parts

Performed the tasks of testing electrical circuits and other related components using electrical test equipment Assisted mechanic in inspecting, repaired and maintained AC and other co-related works Handled the responsibilities of maintaining records of service schedules, temperatures, replacing and call Discuss blueprint reading and inspection techniques and have own hand tools.

Properly move and put away material.

Keep inventory on tires and various parts.

Go on "Road Calls" to locations in order to fix problems that exist with the truck.

Service trucks for oil changes, lubed, and tire changes

Diploma / high school or equivalent

Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is usually needed
