DIVISION PURPOSE: To coordinate and supervise resources and processes in support of the programme and/or to provide support and advice in support of programme delivery.
TEAM PURPOSE: Work with others to towards Oxfam vision for Economic Justice program in Jordan: Conflict affected women and men, youth, refugees and other vulnerable groups, exercise their economic rights in an inclusive and just society with reduced inequalities.
JOB PURPOSE: To manage and coordinate the implementation and development of the project “Improving refugees’ socio-economic conditions in the Za’atari camp through enhancing their capacities and employability skills”, as well as supporting the development of any other Oxfam Economic Justice activities in Za'atari camp.

DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE
The following responsibilities are not exhaustive. They aim to provide a clear sense of the nature and scope of jobs at this grade:
• Delegated authority to supervise junior staff and/or volunteers and delegated projects/activities.
• Problems vary and include a combination of routine and some complex.
• Work pattern is a mixture of reactive and project work.
• Required to make sound judgements regularly within agreed processes using a good understanding of the team and the facilities of the team.
• Communication is largely with internal staff, (including internationally) also with some external contacts and target audiences to support operational work.
Analysis and communication of some complex information at a simple level is required to a wide audience to promote and influence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical
• Under the guidance of the Camp Area Manager and the Economic Justice Programme Manager, to manage and coordinate the implementation and development of the project “Improving refugees’ socio-economic conditions in the Za’atari camp through enhancing their capacities and employability skills”.
• Manage the delivery of assigned activities in close coordination with Camp manager and EJ program manager
• Support Camp manger in managing project budget and forecast of the activities.
• Manage risks and propose risk mitigation plans and/or actions as appropriate.
• Develop and foster links between partners, stakeholders, alliance members, development partners, end users and other market actors
• Ensure coordination with other Oxfam activities under the EJ programme.
• In conjunction with the team analyze and make the links between the WASH, Solid Waste
Management, EJ and CFW activities, and make recommendations for actions which are consistent with Oxfam's policies and sector requirements.
• Working closely with MEAL departments to develop project selecting criteria
• Donor reporting of project activities and indicators.
Technical support
Provide and facilitate expert advice and support in Livelihood programming in protracted crisis, including
1. Livelihoods, Home Based Businesses, financial literacy.
2. Programme Quality, Learning and Growth
3. Contribute to any future program designs and proposal writings
• Ensure programme quality, through appropriate use of Oxfam tools related to monitoring & evaluation and learning; gender mainstreaming; active citizenship; accountability and governance
• Actively participate in designing the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning frameworks
• Monitoring camp-level and local economic trends that may influence job creation. Devising methods and procedures for obtaining and analyzing relevant sectoral market data

Experience, Knowledge & Competencies
Essentials
For this role, you will need to model Oxfam’s feminist leadership approach so we have selected the most relevant feminist leadership practices which we will use for assessment purposes (which you can read more about here):
Graduate from a recognized university, preferably Agricultural engineering.
At least 3 years expertise in livelihood in protracted crisis, including women economic empowerment
Good understanding of Jordan Livelihood programming Experience in and understanding of both urban and rural economic development programming contexts, preferably in a camp setting.
Proven ability to analyses complex environments at local and national level, monitor changes and translate into appropriate strategic and creative planning.
Experience in management and capacity building of teams in complex contexts
Demonstrated experience of integrating gender and diversity into program strategies and
implementation
Excellent experience in all stages of project cycle management.
Good assessment, analytical, monitoring and evaluating and planning skills and project management skills to enable program delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to relate to people from all backgrounds.
Very good written and spoken English and Arabic
Passionate about development work.
Ability to work with diplomacy, tact and sensitivity and experience in working within different cultural and political contexts showing high degree of self-awareness to one's strengths and limitations.
• Well developed interpersonal and team skills and proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations and • Sympathy with the aims and objectives of Oxfam and sharing similar values ability to work under pressure and in response to changing needs

Desirable
Experience in project proposals and reports writing with a strong ability in conveying complex ideas in a
clear and understandable written manner.
