ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
The Food Security and Livelihoods Cluster (FSLC) works with partners and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective food security response in humanitarian crises. In Ukraine the cluster supports the overall operational response the country through the coordination of tracking needs, maintaining data related to partner responses, and managing relationships with all stakeholders engaged on food security programming.

JOB PURPOSE
To perform specialized and/or standardized policy and programme-related processes and activities to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
1. The information management assistant provides information management services to the cluster for key decision-making, including supporting the management of the FSLC databases. These services may include qualitative and qualitative data collection, cleaning, collation, and dissemination.;
2. Manage the food requests, including contacting the partners, maintenance of the database and regular updates of the database and following up with partners and other organizations;
3. Proactively gather information from FSLC cluster partners and other food security actors (including Government authorities) based on both regular and ad-hoc requests, establishing strong relationships with the relevant focal points at all levels;
4. Support the preparation for a variety of quantitative and qualitative inputs. Ensure accurate, timely reporting within the technical area of work and ensure consistency of information;
5. Support the meetings with preparing presentations as well as taking minutes;
6. Within the specific area of responsibility, prepare a range of reports and data analysis (e.g., food assistance needs, resource utilization, programme status, performance) and ensure deliverables are consistent;
7. Support information collection for Who What Where When and How Often (5W) database and derivative products. Identify and utilize secondary data and information resources;
8. Support the initial analysis and presentation of information for the FSLC in accordance with the country context;
9. Support the maintenance for contact directories and mailing lists of FSLC;
10. Perform any other tasks that may be required.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Completion of secondary school education with post-secondary training in political sciences, international affairs, social sciences, statistics, agriculture, development studies or a field relevant to international development assistance.
Experience: At least five years of working experience in managing general tasks.
Proven prior experience working as an information management official.
Experience in food security programmes is considered an asset.
Competencies: Ability to use data to effectively explain complex matters.
Creative problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
Demonstrable ability to work independently and show initiative.
Language: Fluency (level C) in both English Language.

The position is for a dynamic and agile information management assistant. Specifically, we are looking for:
• Proven knowledge, abilities and skills in the areas of preparing a variety of quantitative and qualitative information summaries and reports;
• Strong knowledge of and experience in using Excel;
• Maintenance of contact database;
• Advanced written and communication skills;

• Ability to learn quickly without need for external follow up and anticipate bottlenecks.
