Technical Sales Engineer
Alidama Electronics is APC by Schneider ITB Certified Partner & Authorized Service Provider for Jordan. Other than supplying power continuity products (UPS), we specialize in fully integrated solutions based on the APC InfraStruXure (Integrated Rack, Power, Cooling, Security & Management) for NCPI (Network Critical Physical Infrastructure).
Alidama was established in 1983, focusing on 3 phase switchgear, static power applications and site preparation for EDP and clean room environments. Alidama is a long time partner of Gutor Electronic AG (Swiss) and Silcon Power Electronics (Denmark), both are now owned by APC (American Power Conversion). Alidama has introduced Gutor and Silcon UPS systems to Jordan since 1984 and have a very extensive experience in the commissioning, installation and after sales support/service for the full range of APC 3PH and 1PH products. Our engineers attend, on regular basis, APC Global Professional training to keep up-to-date with APC service programs.
The ideal candidate for this position will obtain and expand the company's business relationships. In order to succeed in this position the candidate must have a solid technical understanding of the company and its products compiled with sociable and outgoing personality to build rapport with potential clients.
Responsibilities
- Work closely and build relationships with customers
- Follow and create leads for potential customers
- Using technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the usefulness of the product or service and how it may suit the customer better
- Develop initiative sales strategy
- Website and Social Media management
- Provide technical support in UPS
- Warehouse management
- Manage and organize our periodic maintenance visits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in UPS systems or as Sales Engineer.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Relevant experience in MS Office.
- Work flexible and long hours when needed
