UAE Operations Manager

We are venture backed and currently active in more than 200 cities in eleven countries around the globe, where we serve millions of customers.
Launched in 2015 in Dubai, we are looking for a passionate and capable Operations Manager to oversee our business operations in the UAE.
As Operations Manager, you will work across key departments to help develop and manage the relationships with our network of cleaning service providers and customers. This is a hands-on opportunity to build upon your strong track record in operations, business development, and relationship management.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Overseeing operations in UAE
- Managing daily on-route operations, ensuring effective and prompt communication across partners.
- Developing strong relationships with our partners and managing their accounts.
- Negotiating better deals with current Business Partners and growing partners’ network based on business needs
- Managing cleaners’ bookings in our internal system
- Drive exploratory data analysis to understand the ecosystem identifying new levers to drive our success metrics.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze data accuracy and model performance
- Handling and resoluting customer complaints with partners.
- Coordinating local internal resources and cleaning service providers to ensure smooth bookings execution and effective communication across teams
- Handling customer service and sales
- Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
- Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
- Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission
- Develop service procedures, policies and standards
- Identifying and crafting new ways to improve our internal processes to improve our KPIs and customer satisfaction.
- Developing partners’ KPI’s, performances and providing feedback.
- Tracking KPIs across the team and providing feedback on performance
- Dealing with diverse operational challenges on a daily basis
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- 2-5 years of working experience, work experience in a similar role of advantage
- Degree qualified with an excellent academic record
- Previous experience with 3PL and 4PL is a must.
- An entrepreneurial spirit – passionate about the start-up scene and ready to roll up your sleeves to build the next UAE success story!
- Flexibility to travel across the UAE and within Dubai
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Data acumen
- An analytical mind with strong numerical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in providing customer service support
- Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools
- Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications
- Ability to think strategically and to lead
- Fluency in English is a must
