About the Children’s Museum Jordan:
The Museum is a national institution registered as an NGO and works in providing informal learning experiences to children aged between 1 and 12 years old. The Children’s Museum receives 300,000 visitors annually from schools and families from all backgrounds. The Museum is located inside the King Hussein Park (www.cmj.jo).
About the position (Non Formal Education Developer):
Under this position, the candidate will be reporting to the Education & Programs Manager.
TheNon-Formal Education Developer Responsible for ensuring for writing and preparing visitor programs for all visitors, of all ages, and delivering some visitors programs to ensure enjoyable, safe and educational visits in compliance with the Education and Programs Department and Museum policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Functional Role:
- To write content and prepare related kits for high-quality programs.
- To develop program content, write briefs, upload, and archive all content in the assigned system.
- To review and re-evaluate existing content.
- To train all facilitators (Art, Tinker lab and Library) on program content.
- To evaluate facilitators and reflect the results on program or project basis.
- To maintain the exhibits and Museum’s property by tidying up the exhibits, removing the items that need cleaning and maintenance and reporting any malfunctioning exhibits to the Program Supervisor.
- To document program content on the Museum system.
- To prepare and submit periodic reports including feedback on program activities.
- To adhere to the Education and Programs Department and Museum policies and procedure.
- To perform other job-related tasks related assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human sciences, education or any related field
(2-5) Years of experience
Excellent command of English; spoken and written.
Native Arabic speaker with excellent writing and reporting skills.
