الوصف الوظيفي
Provides routine care like vision testing and prescribing glasses and contact lenses. Performs corrective surgeries, such as repairing injuries and corneas and removing cataracts. Performs advanced surgical procedures, such as a keyhole or laser surgery.
- Ensures high-quality patient care.
- Works in multidisciplinary team with other doctors and staff
- Conducts routine eye examination
- Performs tests on patients
- Prescribes initial eye care products
- Performs minor surgeries
- Provides specialized eye treatments and therapy
- Prescribes various treatment plans
- Informs Optometrist about patient condition
- Instructs interns, residents, or others in ophthalmologic procedures and techniques
- Stays up to date with trends in the care, diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders
- Develops or implement plans and procedures for ophthalmologic services

- Specialized in pediatrics ophthalmology
- Good administrative and managerial skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Expert working knowledge of the diseases, functions, and anatomy of the eye.
- Strong physics and math skills, and excellent medical knowledge.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
