Commercial Manager

MedNet Jordan is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are looking for a Commerical Manager who will be responsible for planning, development, and implementation of all of the Organization’s business development and marketing strategies.

The role focuses on research and analysing the health insurance and healthcare market in order to identify new business opportunities. This person will advise senior management on new market trends and developments in the health insurance sector in accordance with MedNet’s strategic plan. They will also be responsible for professionally handling servicing requests from clients with a target of over-delivering on the client’s expectations of excellent services.

The role:

  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and ensure business proposals are tailored to the needs of the prospective clients in coordination with other operational business units.
  • Maintain Network and actively drive acquisitions of new clients, lead negotiations and close deals within the mandate to reach the entity’s targets and establish and maintain good business relationships with clients to ensure stable growth.
  • Liaise with and maintain business relationships with the regional office to facilitate product enhancements and pricing to achieve market competitiveness in compliance with all local insurance laws and regulations as well as guidelines.
  • Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development. Reflect this knowledge onto the products and services development.
  • Develop and manage the company commercial communications and manage the selected advertising agency to communicate simple and effective communications to the market
  • Manage day to day operations of customer services Team.
  • Implement quality reviews within customer services agents ensuring highest levels of professionalism, call &/or face to face response's quality and information accuracy.
  • Manage the collection of our customer Information's for internal processes development/monitoring and market research.
  • Manage the effective achievement of the commercial department objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing staff, and providing formal and informal feedback in order to maximize overall performance and team motivation.
  • Prepare and recommend the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/ revenues, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
  • Develop yearly and five years revenue plans for the company in alignment with General manager and broader leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any related field.
  • Minimum 7 -10 years' experience in marketing communications, product marketing or field marketing positions. Experience in managing Customer Services functions such as call center is desirable
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managerial level in terms of people management.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of all local market related health system
  • Understanding of the insurance principles, business models would be a plus
  • Structured, analytical and results oriented approach
  • excellent Command in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to operate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
  • Strategic planning skills, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Quality focus and customer oriented.
