І. Summary of Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities.

  • Maintaining Warranty Statistics as described in Warranty Processing Handbook Export.
  • Initial verification of all incoming warranty claims for correctness.
  • Conducting correspondence in respect of clarification required for all questions resulting from warranty processing.
  • Disassembling, gauging, and assessing income-damaged parts as needed.

III. Task/s:

  • Conducting correspondence in respect of clarification required for all questions resulting from warranty processing.
  • Maintaining chassis file.
  • Initial verification of all incoming warranty claims for correction.
  • Checking damage history and warranty status of the vehicles.
  • Conducting correspondence in respect of clarification required for all questions.
  • Processing warranty claims.
  • Receiving damaged parts.
  • Sending major repair information to the center after-sale department.
  • Processing ESKULAB requests.
  • Maintaining warranty register.
  • Verifying incoming warranty claims for correctness, returning with explanatory comments.
  • Verifying damage codes and flat rates.
  • Reception of damaged parts and sorting numerically in warranty store with proper warranty tag.
  • After receipt of warranty decision (R20), removing and scraping of warranty parts.
  • Sending report to national warranty officer after scraping of warranty parts with pictures and authorized signature.
  • Coordinate with the national warranty officer with respect to rejected or denied claims.

IV. Competency Required:

  • Education & / or Field of Expertise: Technician or foreman.
  • Skills: PC Knowledge (Word, Excel, MS power point, E-mail, WIS – EPC, Internet use.
  • Experience/s: Several years of experience in the vehicle repair sector with complete product knowledge.
  • Training: Warranty Training, I.T. training for EPC, WIS, ASRA. Damage codes, EWA, Service Net. Freightliner Systems, Communication & Technical training.
