Responsibilities

  • Follows line manager's instructions and works on immediate implementation.
  • Maintains good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Reports to the line manager whenever equipment or utensils are damaged and makes sure readiness of all sections.
  • Monitors the receiving of ingredients and other supplies from suppliers/storekeepers as required for daily operations.
  • Monitors the cleaning and disinfection of work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Monitors the proper functioning of all types of pieces of machineries.
  • Follows up and monitors commitment in all checklists and log sheets.
  • Monitors and control product's the shelf life and prevents product expiration.
  • Ready to cover special circumstances (emergency absenteeism of any staff).
  • Ready to cover in other stores when required and as needed in case of staff shortage.
  • Trains and coaches all newly hired employees in all departments to meet job requirements and supervises their performance with the coordination of his line manager.
  • Coordinates with the Area Manager regarding the staff working schedules.
  • Coaches and trains the staff in order to improve performance and to achieve the department objectives and targets through OJT (On-job-training).
  • Trains the staff on the sequence of service and their suggestive selling.
  • Coordinates with the Floor Supervisor and the Training Specialist with regard to the new trainees and makes sure that all staff are refreshed with all needed menu information.
  • Makes sure that all staff are applying the hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Makes sure that all staff are well groomed and presentable.
  • Makes sure that all staff are respecting the uniform code of the company.
  • Conducts daily briefings with the staff and makes sure that all staff are aware with the company updates.
  • Conducts daily briefings with all head departments and discuss operating concerns.
  • Supervises the opening & closing of the store.
  • Handles the daily inventory items as well as the monthly one.
  • Works closely with his line manager on analyzing variances and make sure proper accountability.
  • Makes sure commitment of the staff and stewards in general cleanliness.
  • Performs on going visits to all sections in the store.
  • Assigns stewards or staff to perform cleaning duties to ensure a clean and neat environment.
  • Makes sure and follows up stock availability during the shift.
  • Places and prepares daily order sheet and makes sure sending it to the Warehouse.
  • Makes sure proper and efficient shift handover.
  • Tracks daily sales, identify sales analysis figures and compare with previous data.
  • Makes sure getting involved in all expenses and costs with respect to the set profit margins.
  • Meets with his line manager monthly to discuss profit and loss statements.
  • Identifies areas of development and detects gaps with respect to the sales turnover and targets.
  • Monitors the daily sales and compares with previous data and works on immediate corrective actions whenever Sales is affected.
  • Monitors on a daily and monthly basis the proper roll over of all menu items with respect to the sales mix.
  • Performs the LSM and invent ways and directions to increase the sales.
  • Make sure full commitment in SOPs.
  • Makes sure that a motivation spirit is maintained within the team and enhances the sales drive spirit as well
  • Makes sure staff rotation in all related sections.
  • Makes sure that all customers are well greeted, guided and fare welled.
  • Performs ongoing table visits, collects feedbacks and makes sure complete customer’s satisfaction.
  • Evaluates the performance of all staff.
  • Maintains discipline, recommends and administers corrective action through reports.
  • Motivates and develops staff, in order to encourage their professional development.
  • Ensures compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with the Staff Handbook, preparation, and recipes chart.
  • Makes sure commitment in recipes and beverage charts as well as the portioning details.
  • Reports regularly to his line manager with all item shortages whenever required.
  • Reports regularly on maintenance matters to his line manager whenever required.
  • Communicates directly with the customers and makes sure of proper service.
  • Controls delivery timing of all menu items and makes sure of the proper speed of service is maintained.
  • Tracks, controls Wastes and works on reduction, and makes sure of proper tracking on the Waste Log.
  • Complies with health, safety, and hygiene guidelines and regulations.
  • Detects and ensures disposition of spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies, and/or other unusual conditions. • Respects the set schedule by his line manager with regard to attendance IN/OUT.
  • Makes sure to solve customers' complaints whenever possible and refers to the line manager in case of crucial cases.
  • Monitors closing procedures, turns off machines, and makes sure that all equipment is turned in a safe mode.
  • Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled.
  • Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled.
  • Maintains a positive spirit and a friendly environment during his shift.
  • Commits in personal hygiene and grooming standards.
  • Commits by the uniform code as per the company standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

المهارات

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B, preferably at a managerial level, same experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality is mandatory.
  • Bakery passionate.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Multi tasked and problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy including monetary responsibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Initiative and follow-up skills.
  • Hard and smart worker.
  • Physically fit and ready to work long hours.
  • Advanced Arabic and English language, another language is a plus.
  • Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Applications.
