JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the realization and implementation of the HR Operations Strategy and policies in the Red Sea region by providing professional HR guidance, support, and maintaining processes in line with company standards and legislations, ensuring a unified way of delivering.
The role will be focusing on delivery of HR solutions and overseeing HR Operations team in Red Sea area while working closely with the wider HR regional team. The role is also responsible for execution of continuous process improvements and be part of key HR projects, at the regional level, to support the further development of the Shared Services HR function.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Accountable for leading the HR Operations Team in Red Sea and managing their performance, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer service.
- Responsible for the planning and delivery of a varied scope of administrative services for the Region, relating to Workplace Management, General Services and Government Relations which are provided during the employee lifecycle. This will include but is not limited to facilities management, visas arrangements, travel & vehicles management, and some related procurement services.
- HR Operations and shared services ticket management for the Region Red Sea.
- Consistent, timely, accurate and efficient delivery of HR Operations services to all projects and Corporate staff within Red Sea area.
- Partner with the Head of Shared services/HR Operations – Gulf to align on policies and processes to make sure there is alignment in the execution of transactions.
- Maintain current working knowledge of Company policies and procedures, employee benefits, employment laws and communicate regularly with employees in the region to promote understanding and utilization.
- Support business process upgrades, enhancements, testing and data validation in HR systems
- Utilize HRIS knowledge to enhance productivity in systems & processes
- Train Area HR Operations team on the Core HCM (including new-hires) and communicate new technology, functionalities, bi-annual releases, and changes in Core HCM to the HR Organization
- Support, develop and train the Area HR Operations team on systems and processes. Serve as an escalation point to resolve complex issues for team members.
- People leadership responsibilities through the lens of running Area HR operations as a business – understanding of the global HR strategy and how area HR operations planning and governance mechanism plays into that strategy
- Validate and where required, maintain, data in the HRIS system, including, but not limited to: new hires/terminations, transfers, salary/wage changes, benefit deductions/changes, work locations, tax jurisdiction set up.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Support HR projects that advance the regional HR agenda
- Liaison across the region as well building integrated solutions through Shared Services Centre of Excellence and the HR Business Partner community, with an eye towards standardization
- Understand processes – regional, global – and how to evaluate gap analyses and problem solve to address issues for timely resolution
- Accountable for the day-to-day performance metrics, ensuring clear SLA's and KPI's align to effective and positive employee experience
- Liaison to the region HR Business Partner of Red Sea
- Ensures that the regional HR Operations team meets or exceeds expected performance levels, timely and accurately
- Work via the Shared Services and HR Operations Centre of Excellence to partner with HRIS team to build and implement highly responsive regional and local solutions
- Work via their team to stay on top of metrics and develop regional and global insights from the region HR Operations centers.
- Works with Shared Services and HR Operations CoE on policy and procedure creation
- Actively participate in the creation, documentation and management of end-to-end employee lifecycle HR processes and policies.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data managed and maintained. Such robust data management shall use to provide valuable insights to key partners that will lead to the creation of focus areas and strategies
- Define, assess, and ensure the delivery of a comprehensive set of performance metrics
- Investigate and resolve complex issues that arise regarding policies, processes, and practices and partner with the Shared Services and HR Operations CoE to understand root cause of the problem to avoid repeats of the same.
- Ensure compliance to all audits, certification, HR policy and Employee Handbooks
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Experience
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant HR Operations and Shared Services experience.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of people management experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
- CIPD or equivalent professional certification.
