Job Title: IT OFFICER

Location: Amman

Job Purpose

IT Officer monitor and maintain the computer systems, hardware and software devices in the company. He/she is responsible for installing, configuring and solving technical problems, either over the phone or in person.

Duties and Responsibilities

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Provide technical support across the company
Set up accounts for new users
Repair and replace equipment as necessary
Check computer hardware to ensure functionality
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders

Qualifications / skills / experience

Fresh to 2 years of Experience as an IT Officer
Must have one of the following certifications: MCSE, MCSA, or CCNA
Experience and good knowledge in Exchange 2016 and/or 2019, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, LAPS services
Good level of written and spoken English.

Job Title: NOC – Technical Support

Location: Aqaba

Job Purpose

Network Operations Center (NOC) technicians are responsible for network management. They perform troubleshooting on a daily basis. The work of a NOC technician entails maintaining network, servers, and telecom equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Network Surveillance in 24×7 environment.
Trouble ticket handling, Escalations handling and reports generation.
Root cause analysis of tickets
Handling routine checks for the network
The engineer is expected to solve complex problems that require substantial analysis and investigation related to network and system performance.
Ability to work independently, evaluate customer requirements and recommend solutions.
Work with cross-functional teams to define, propose, and deliver innovative solutions.
Aqaba residence or accept to relocate to Aqaba

Qualifications / skills / experience

Holds a Degree in Computer Science/IT/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or related fields
CCNA and/or JNCIA certifications if preferred.
Fresh graduate to 2 years’ experience in the field of IP networks O&M and Provisioning preferably in ISP environment
Good understanding of IP networks, OSI layers, TCP/UDP, and FTTH.
Good troubleshooting skills for L2 /L3 protocols is a preferred
Good understanding of Network Management Systems, willingness to learn and manage NMS servers for the network.
Hands-on experience on Cisco and Juniper devices is preferred
Hands on experience on GPON and optical networks will be an added advantage
Ability to learn and understand the telecom process and procedures
Advanced written and verbal communication skill in both Arabic and English
Ability to work in 24X7 rotation schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays)
