Job Description Summary:

Accountable to provide Techno Functional Consultant support to Business End Users for the ERP Supply Chain Management (SCM) for business processes related to Materials Management and External Services. Have a thorough understanding of business processes related to Contracts, procurement, Inventory and Warehouse management. Be able to support ERP cloud platform applications. Experience in ERP Logistics version and Ariba an added advantage.

You shall have in-depth understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) domain for communications service provider (CSP) and digital service provider (DSP) business models, processes and operating environments, technology and application systems and software development and delivery methodologies.

Additionally, you are expected to be expert on ERP Cloud Platform backed by experience of delivering similar solution for other implementations. Expert understanding of Oracle EBS ERP would also be appreciated.

You would work as team member of the Solution Architect team, in multi-cultural, agile and fast pace environment and deliver business results.

Your experience working in Middle-East and understanding Middle-East/Qatar market is considered a plus.

Minimum Experience and Essential Knowledge

Minimum of 5 years hands-on ERP implementation / support experience including at least 1 full life cycle implementation projects as Functional Consultant for development and deployment of Fiori apps for ERP MM (including Ariba, WM and QM) covering Business Process Design, Configuration, Gap Analysis, Development, Testing and Training
Proven experience in Material Management functions handling end to end cycle of Materials procurement, MRP, inventory control, warehouse functioning, etc.
Working knowledge of other modules and cross applications (e.g., Document Management System, Workflows)
Key responsibility to support SCM domain – Data migration & Integration design and analysis
Through expertise in ERP product capability and business acumen enable Ooredoo to measure and achieve the benefits in Supply Chain Management to fully integrate the source-to-pay process for compliance with regulatory requirements, increased customer satisfaction, improve supplier collaboration, maximize cost savings, optimize inventory levels and greater synchronization with business priorities
Preferably ERP Certification in Material Management
In-depth knowledge / expertise on one or more of the technologies like ERP Netweaver Gateway, UI5, OData, ABAP, IoT solutions, ERP BTP and related processes.
Experience of Accelerated ERP and ERP Activate project management methodology (AERP, Activate) project management and service level management
Excellent people management, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision-making skills and team player.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to customers, contractors, and staff.
Effectively analyzes root causes to provide solutions for production and development.
Recommend ERP best practices across the project for ensuring proper implementations of releases and upgrades.
Experience of Accelerated ERP and ERP Activate project management methodology (AERP, Activate) project management and service level management
Excellent people management, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision-making skills and team player.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to customers, contractors, and staff.
Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to junior staff/team members.

Professional Experience

Minimum 12 years of work experience of which minimum 10 years in the ERP Techno Functional Domain.
Minimum 7 years of qualified experience on the requested role of Technology ERP Solution Lead Subject Matter Expert for Solution Domain with proven track record demonstrating Solution leadership and ability to define and implement complex information technology and/or digital transformation initiatives within the Solution Design Domain
Maximum years of experience working in the telecommunications Industry, demonstrating solid understanding of ERP domain, Telecom Business Models, Operating Environments and Applications across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Regulatory and Legal and Telecom BSS/OSS Information Technology and Software Systems.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in any of the engineering discipline like Mechanical / Electrical / Computer Science Engineering / Management / or equivalent
At least one of the ERP Certification as Application Associates in Supply Chain Management is must.
Good working knowledge and preferably certifications of one or more relevant Frameworks, Standards, Models and Practices related to Telecom Industry and Role, not limited to TOGAF, ITIL, PMP/ PMI/PRINCE2, SIG SIGMA, COBIT, SCRUM, SDLC, TM Forum. IT Industrial Certifications or Post Graduation with specific focus on Practical deployments is considered a plus.
