Since 2014, Niagara College KSA (NC KSA) has operated technical and vocational training colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Vision 2030 initiative and in partnership with the Colleges of Excellence (CoE). Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, NC KSA provides community and customized training based on Niagara College Canada's expertise and international track records as one of Canada’s most innovative and enterprising applied learning post-secondary institutions. With a strong focus on developing ‘world-’ and ‘work-’ ready graduates.
A strategic partnership between Saudi Aramco, Ministry of Labor and Social Development, TVTC & HRDF resulted in the establishment of the first academy for females in Al Khobar, Leading National Academy (LNA), which is not-for-profit legally independent entity aiming at leading diversification of employment opportunities and building the capabilities of the Saudi female workforce through economy driven, elite, and agile training; committed to the values of integrity, excellence, diversity, citizenship and safety responsibility. In partnership with NCKSA, LNA provides a specialized two-year diploma training program for entry-level jobs in new market opportunities.
The first year, the Academic Program, solidifies English, IT, Math, and H&S skills as part of the performance-based curriculum. In the second year, the Job Skills Program provides the latest knowledge and skills training in different vocational trades and sectors (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Chemical Lab Technician, Business Administration, Electrical Technician, Quality Control Building Inspection, and Health & Safety and Environment). LNA prides itself on its integral reliance on smart learning solutions (e.g. iPads, Smartboards, blended learning) to efficiently equip carefully selected trainees (A2 minimum) through high quality training.
Applicants are invited for the position of Scheduling & Data Analyst, at the Leading National Academy (LNA) powered by Niagara College KSA in Al Khobar. Reporting to the Campus Principal, the Scheduling & Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining all data management relating to attendance, schedules, class lists and others and tracking KPIs to support the Campus Principal and administrative staff within the Academy. Must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills and perform well while juggling multiple tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service in communicating with faculty, students, staff and external stakeholders.
- Assisting in the preparation of schedules, class lists and other documents required by the Heads of Departments and management.
- Consolidating data and compiling reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Assisting with documenting scheduling processes.
- Producing attendance reports and timesheets to internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Responding to academic logistics-related inquiries and/or issues reported by faculty, staff and students.
- Executing the operation and administration of all scheduling matters.
- Maintaining accurate data of all programs and trainees’ records.
- Compiling statistics related to programs and scheduled sections.
- Interpreting and communicating academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures.
- Tracking and recording all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required.
- Providing recommendations that can help improve decision-making processes internally or at sponsor levels.
المهارات
Required qualifications, at a minimum, include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or a related discipline
- Two (2) years' experience in post-secondary student services or education field, preferably with experience in admissions and/or student recruitment and services
- Experience with course scheduling or space allocation strongly preferred and experience in Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions a plus
- Understanding of web-based applications and strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- Strong written and verbal skills in English and Arabic required to communicate concise instructions and directions
- Experience troubleshooting problems and communicating solutions
- Previous work experience in a higher education environment preferred
- Ability to work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Good organization, scheduling and time management skills.
