Overview of the role:

The MEP Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all collaboration between the Parties. He shall be an experienced engineer familiar with all aspects of the works contemplated. He shall be capable of communicating directly with the other Party and Employer on project collaboration-related issues regarding the works to be performed.

What you will do:

• Prepare and submit for the collaboration plan covering all foreseeable interfaces known at such time during the course of execution of the works to be performed.

• Monitor drawing / material / work conformances with provisions as per specification.

• Check the activities on site and provide the necessary reminders to the Project Manager, Operations Manager and the Planning Engineer for any immediate action.

• Follow up the status of material and shop drawings and keep all parties informed of the status and follow up the implementation of the Clients comments in timely manner.

• Distribute detailed information, documents and regulations as applicable to all concerned parties and ensure their acknowledgement and adherence to its contents.

• Coordinate with main contractors, sub-contractors, MEP coordinator, Engineers and Operations Manager to obtain clearance before starting the work to ensure smooth and efficient execution of work.

• Provide Technical support and solve all Site related issues to ensure completion of Jobs within the stipulated time.

• Make full weekly / monthly reports as required by the client

• Follow up and close all day to day activities.

• Adhere to the company QHSE policy at all times.

• Report All QHSE incidents immediately and take necessary precautions.

Required Skills to be successful

Job-Specific Skills:

Possess sound knowledge in engineering design, Authorities regulations.
Familiar with all MEP systems including the construction sequence.
Familiar with all civil, finishing, FF&E & infrastructure activities including the construction sequence and the MEP interfaces.
Possess experience in hotel projects and familiar with hotel operator requirements’.
Strong verbal and written communication skill
