We are looking to hire hard-working helpers to join us at our luxury chocolatier and daily bakery.
JOB PURPOSE:
Perform various cleaning, maintenance, preparation, and stocking duties in the central kitchens which includes washing dishes, helping kitchen staff to prepare items and ensuring that all sections and work stations are clean, tidy and sanitized at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that all work areas are always clean, tidy and properly sanitized.
- Properly wash and dry all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards.
- Neatly put away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places.
- Remove garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.
- Assist to unload food supplies from delivery vehicles and load finished items on to delivery vehicles
- Retrieve stock and other items from the refrigerator, freezer, and stockroom as per the chef's instructions

EDUCATION: Minimum High school
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cleaner or Helper in any kitchen or F&B establishment
- Must demonstrate good personal hygiene and sound knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Must follow all food health and safety regulations and display good organizational skills to ensure the timely completion of assigned duties.
- Must be polite and display professional attitude at all times
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Basic understanding of conversational English or Arabic is must
