Job Primary Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Coordination & managing all logistical aspects of goods from various foreign and local suppliers; this will include importation licenses, customs clearance, and related activities.
  • Track all incoming/outgoing shipments and follow up with suppliers or logistics services regarding any damaged or missing items etc.

  • Responsible for audits and assisting with motor Vehicle Periodical Inspections, operating cards, and renewing Issuing Vehicle License
  • Plan, coordinated, and ensured completion of both routine and unexpected maintenance of vehicles, trucks, and equipment.
  • Coordination & managing all logistical aspects of goods from various foreign and local suppliers; this will include importation licenses, customs clearance, and related activities.
  • Track all incoming/outgoing shipments and follow up with suppliers or logistics services regarding any damaged or missing items etc.
  • Coordinate the transfer of goods between warehouses, plants and cross-docks and scheduled shipments of goods supplied with a freight forwarder.
  • Study all the available solutions for delivering the Finished Products from the company’s assigned store to the customer’s assigned premises efficiently and with the minimum cost
  • Create and report presentations related to Transportation to supply chain Management.
  • Completes all necessary and required documentation associated with the operation accurately and promptly.
  • Direct and coordinate department work schedules and assignments to meet current and projected shipments.
  • Assessed and monitored the vehicle safety standards
  • Maintain and track vehicle maintenance schedules with our outside service provider (including, but not limited to – regular maintenance, oil changes, cleaning, and tires).
  • Monitor Computerized Fleet Management Tool closely for safety issues (speeding,.), fuel consumption, and vehicles used for personal use outside working hours.
  • Daily review of driver paperwork, data input and data flow for transport-related systems and processes.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

· Degree-level qualification in a relevant logistics or supply chain subject or equivalent professional qualification

Minimum Experience:

  • Substantial ERP experience required.
  • Minimum Two years of Transportation/Logistic experience required, demonstrating the ability to plan and supervise the work of others.
  • Must have English (written and oral).
