Job Description and Qualifications

Summary/Overview:

We have an immediate opening in our Business Applications area for a manger of our Middle East Digital Enterprise Systems Application Team. This position will help recruit and lead a regional team of Digital Technology Application Analysts located at our newly formed Digital Technology hub in Daman, Saudi Arabia. One key element of this role is to build strong effective working relationships with the regional business team and global Digital Technology organization. The team will be part of a global functional team working on Enterprise and regional DT projects and support activities.

Essential functions of the role:

Lead and recruit a regional team of approximately 8 application analysts that develop, enhance and support applications in SAP and non SAP that enable our Air Products supply chain, corporate functions and plant operation areas
Work with Global Functional Managers to provide feedback, career development and employee engagement for the regional team
Establish partnerships at all levels of the organization both globally and in middle east region
Support global projects that are resourced from team. Manage regional work efforts using established project management processes
Design and execute application operational support models that meet agreed SLAs as well as support service recovery and financial objectives
Establish and maintain value add relationships with strategic and other vendor partners

Skills and Experience

Demonstrated interpersonal/team-building skills
10+ years of IT Business or Functional experience
Bachelor’s degree or related experience required
Experience team management or supervisions and working with global DT teams
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications
Strong understanding of supply chain business processes and applications
Good understanding of enterprise architecture, project management principles, change release processes as well as security and compliance
Excellent understanding and communication of the organization’s goals and objectives
