Job title: Registrar

Subspecialty: Pathologist – Anesthesia – Radiology – ICU – Ophthalmologist – NICU – Oncology –Neurology – Dermatology

Education and Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or its International equivalent
• A subspecialty degree/Fellowship Certification i.e. Saudi Board, Arab Board, American Board or Canadian or its equivalent internationally recognized high medical qualifications.
• Current valid license as a Registrar to practice medicine recognized by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties.
• Current valid certification Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtaining these within 6 months of commencement of employment.
• Training in subspecialty is desirable.

Professional Experience:

• Work experience is not mandatory after obtaining high medical Professional degree or fellowship in his/her subspecialty but will be preferred if it is in his/her specialty.
• Minimum of two (2) years professional experience in the practice of the specialty after obtaining Master’s degree.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Must be well versed in the field of his/her subspecialty.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language is essential requirement.
• Excellent leadership & communication skills.
• Ability to cope with large workload, changing priorities and responsibilities emotionally stable and in good physical health.
