Solution Expert – Digital Website Development| Enterprise IT | Dubai

Overview of the Role:

The Solution Expert will provide an expert level of skills & knowledge in the evaluation, development, testing and delivery of website using various technologies like HCL Dx application, WordPress and Sharepoint.

What Will You Do

Collaborate with the business in identifying functional requirements for process groups, and create corresponding technical specifications
Work along with various internal and external team on technical solutions.
Create and modify configurations using defined development standards, procedures, and design specifications
Develop test scripts, perform unit testing, and contribute to integration testing of development objects
Provide technical support to end users; diagnose and resolve application-related issues, identify root causes, as well as institute corrective actions and preventive measures.
Carry out detailed impact assessments for proposed change requests, proposing alternative cost-effective solutions where appropriate.
Ensure Change Controls are developed, tested & released according to an agreed schedule and ensure all high business impact changes are escalated as appropriate.
Expected to be involved in support activities and a number of development activities and to have developed excellent business process design skills.
Ensure the development team adhere to the standard guideline and best practice

Required skills to be successful:

Understanding of the technical solution for other website platforms like WordPress and Sharepoint.
Ability to manage a team for the day-to-day operations
Ability to work with various internal and external to build solutions.
Expertise on WCM API and REST API

What equips you for the role:

At minimum of 8-10 years of experience in digital website development, with 3-4 years of experience in leading the team.
Very good understanding of JAVA/J2EE
Very good portlet development knowledge
Good knowledge of HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Dojo and good knowledge of latest portal and bootstrap theme development
Good Portal administrative skills
Ability to design solution and implement in WCM/Portal environment.
Custom WCM items like workflows/plugins/JSPs
Preferable knowledge on dockers, container and Kubernetes
