الوصف الوظيفي
The Senior Health and Safety Specialist monitors health and safety standards and legal requirements where applicable and provides appropriate and timely advice. He/she supports the Health and Safety Manager and team with governance and compliance, planning, and implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System to ensure that the Department objectives are met.
المهارات
Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, engineering.
• Valid Driver's License required;
• International certification in an applicable HSE area (i.e. CSP, NEBOSH, etc.).
Experience
• 5-10 (plus) years of health and safety work experience.
Additional Requirement
• This job requires a person to be physically fit, occasionally work at height, climb ladders, move around between facilities (can be outdoors and indoors), and work in noisy environments.
• The use of protective clothing may be required.
• A willingness to occasionally work overtime, for example during emergencies and during events.
• Be part of the HSE on-call team.
• Follow health and safety rules and immediately report or intervene in unsafe conditions.
• Responds decisively whilst maintaining composure, to changing needs and environments.
• Persistent, resilient, patient, and has perspective.
• Committed to the vision.
• Displays a positive attitude and maintains a high level of professional integrity.
