The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a curtains and blinds project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
Work with the fabric suppliers, manage orders, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
1 – 3 years' of construction experience preferred
Checking tender documents & Drawings
Develop Bill of Quantity & details for pricing
Tender preparation & Submission process
Product technical submittal preparation & Submission process
Identify scope and prepare estimation based on drawings quantities and specifications
Preparation of technical and commercial Proposals
Coordinate with Technical Department and Projects Sales
Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data
Understanding drawings and Site technical issues
Visiting sites to gather information needed
Preparing drawing /sketches for approvals (not a must)
Meeting clients/customer explaining drawing & quote
Maintaining local job /project records & data
Other administrative and relevant job duties
