On behalf of a leading retailer with showrooms across the GCC markets, we are seeking a Software Development Engineer for their Kuwait operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.
- Develop quality software and web applications.
- Analyze and maintain existing software applications.
- Design highly scalable, testable code.
- Discover and fix programming bugs.
- Achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment.

المهارات
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in an object-oriented language such as JavaScript, C++, Ruby, Phyton etc.
- Development experience with programming languages.
- SQL database or relational database skills.
- Experience in Algorithms and Coding skills.
- Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Experience influencing software engineers’ best practices within your team.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers to maintain architectural vision and software quality. The ability to take raw product requirements and develop software architectures and designs to bring them to life.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, and describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between.
- Previous experience building an e-commerce system is a plus.
- Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to have fun!
