Now we are looking for R&M Engineer to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at Grand Hyatt Amman

As R&M Engineer, you will be reporting directly to Director of Engineering and below are some of the key responsibilities:

To assist the Director of Engineering in every aspect of the operation as requested.
To report to the Director of Engineering any abnormal conditions with relation to life safety related equipment or situations.
To supervise other Engineering associates.
To perform, at least weekly, a routine inspection of all engineering operational areas (plant rooms) and report any equipment malfunctions to the Director of Engineering.
To control and verify all engineering logbook entries.
To supervise personally all hazardous work and ensure that all safety procedures are strictly observed.
To monitor the implementation of all energy conservation procedures and report any irregularities and noncompliance to the Director of Engineering.
To prepare monthly comparative utility consumption reports and keep constant survey of correct calibration of all utility recording instruments.
To check timely completion of maintenance requests paying particular attention to guest related jobs.
To assist Materials Management in the purchase of engineering spares and consumables.
To prepare purchase requests and follow up with Materials Management.
To assist the Director of Engineering with the preparation of planned preventive maintenance and guest room servicing procedures.
To provide cost and time estimates for work requests.
To allocate work requests, scheduled maintenance and repairs to Engineering associates.
To coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and the hotel's procedures regarding guest contact and safety.
To coordinate the engineering and maintenance work with other hotel departments.
To prepare and conduct energy conservation orientation training for new associates in cooperation with the Training Manager and follow up with refresher training classes as conditions warrant.
To assist with the preparation and implementation of an Emergency Response Plan and the operation and maintenance of all life safety and security systems.
To assist in monitoring and controlling closely all environmental awareness and protection programmers, to ensure adherence by all departments in the Hotel, notifying the Director of Engineering of areas that need improvement in environmentally responsible practices.
To assist in ensuring that the property, its systems and the operational procedures comply with all the prevailing local and national codes, notifying the Director of Engineering of areas of non-compliance, if any.

Qualifications

4-5 Years Work Experience in Hotel Maintenance or Contracting Company, supervising finishing, carpentry, painting, polishing, civil works & quality jobs, working on Preventive Maintenance Programs & Systems, familier with AutoCad, MS Microsoftللتقدم على الوظيفة
