Group QHSE Manager
Our client a holding group in the telecommunication industry is looking for an experienced QHSE Manager.
Job Purpose:
To provide Quality & Safety leadership, ensure compliance with QHSE standards, improve performance, and ensure QHSE policies and procedures are aligned with companies’ policy.
Key Tasks /Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, develops and lead QHSE improvement initiatives
- Implement ISO 45OO1, 9OO1 & 14OO1 standards relevant to the scope of work of each company, to ensure certification/re-certification
- Creating QHSE Budget plan and milestones
- Monitors and advises on how the system is performing, which may often include the publication of statistics regarding companies’ performance against set QHSE measures.
- Ensuring that customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organization is meeting or exceeding the same
- Developing the QHSE goals and targets in the organizations’ strategic plan
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation
- Creating / revising technical & QHSE documents as per client specification and requirements
- Design, implement and administer document & records systems and related information services
- Management and implementation of retention and disposal of files
- Prepares reports, forms, presentations, multimedia works and other documents related to QHSE
- Provides QHSE training to new and existing employees
- Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment
- Perform quality/safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
- Investigate job based accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, implement preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities
- Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes
- Issue nonconformance reports (NCRs) to companies and subcontractors and provide support to ensure compliance and close the same
- Lead the companies during the out breaks and unforeseen pandemic events
- Support the businesses in creating QHSE related documents and records to meet RFIs, RFQs & Prequalification
- Acts as a QHSE consultant and adviser for the management
Skills
- Bachelor of Safety Engineering, or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in KSA, Jordan & Palestine.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in QHSE Management.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety and environmental auditing techniques
- Demonstrated ability to set goals and organize resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with people of diverse disciplines, backgrounds and cultures.
- Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to meet deadlines, be a self-starter, and be a quick learner.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic
