Commercial Analyst | Electronics OMASCO | Oman

Role Purpose:

To provide financial and commercial support to Omasco Electronics Vertical and to support them to operate as per Company policies & work as bridge between HO and Local Operations to streamline the commercial process.

JOB PROFILE

1. Providing financial & commercial support to SBU Management:

• Review of monthly financial statements & provide explanation on variances

• Review of rebate contracts

• Evaluating special deals/ projects for Gross Margin flow down.

2. Ensuring Timely & Accurate reporting of MIS to HO:

• Prepare Flash reports

• Balance Sheet review with HO

• MBR pack after month end

3. Annual Budget preparation, BR1, BR2 & Long Term Planning

• Provide business information to HO to help in budget planning

4. Reviewing internal controls and procedures for all operations and suggest improvements to HO

5. Respond with comments and act on Internal Audit recommendations after HO review

6. Principal Claim Management

• Clarify queries on claims in coordination with Product Managers

• Follow up for payment of Claims

7. Co-ordination with SSF on AR, AP, GL, ICM and approve booking of entries

8. Manage commercial activities and support the sales & product teams including Sales orders & timely invoicing

9. Review project cost sheets and margins and ensuring that project costs are controlled within approved levels. Also assist in sub contractor payments and approvals

10. Support sales team on evaluating credit worthiness and insurance coverage of customer

11. Manage the stock count of Retail outlets as well as warehouse

12. Ensure duty drawback claims are processed in time

13. Approve credit notes for Price support/GV/Promotions/Sales returns

14. Approve all Petty cash expenses

15. Review BCA (Below Cost Approval) Forms; Write offs and scrapping.

16. Prepare monthly incentive files & send to HO for approval

17. Review AR aging and UACR with Sales team

18. Review Inventory aging with product Managers

19. Provide finance support to all verticals like Projects/Services/Showroom

20. Collect assets from employees while exiting the company & getting them removed from monthly charges

21. VAT Return review & support

22. Interface with legal for sticky outstanding's and court cases.

المهارات

About you:

You have Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Finance

You have minimum 10-15+ years of experience in Managing finance and commercial function

You have Knowledge in advanced ERP (SAP etc.)

You are able to handle multiple tasks.

You have excellent MS office Skills
