BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIT POOL, GLOBAL TALENT ACQUISITION

The Talent Acquisition Branch supports the organization to equip its workforce with the right capabilities by sourcing top talent and building a talent pipeline for future needs.

The World Food Programme (WFP)'s Future International Talent (FIT) Pool is building a pool of highly qualified, dynamic professionals of all levels who wish to work in any of WFP’s countries of operation, including emergency duty stations.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

We are seeking to fill the position of Talent Acquisition Consultant with the Global Talent Acquisition team which is based at our Headquarters in Rome, Italy.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated team member who is keen to bring their skills and knowledge to the context of WFP and contribute to strengthening Talent Acquisition in WFP. You will receive close guidance from experienced colleagues, while getting opportunities for exposure and growth through supporting the roll-out of global projects. The role also involves blending information from various sources, applying business acumen to it, and building valuable insights which can offer ways to improve in the FIT Pool.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant you will provide dedicated recruitment support to the FIT Pool Consultants working on Building the FIT Pools in Global Talent Acquisition. The selected candidate will perform the following duties, but are not limited to:

  • Gain a deep understanding of WFP’s programs and operations, to provide excellent talent acquisition support.
  • Assist FIT Pool Consultants in handling the full-cycle recruiting for different functions.
  • Provide the analysis-specific exclusion on requested specific cases.
  • Support with preparation of reports for the management stating trends, patterns, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
  • Review the Technical test translations and then review the tests in the system ensuring all the information is clear and correct.
  • When requested screen incoming applications against position requirements and summarize the reasons for exclusion.
  • Support with conducting the talent inflow analysis throughout all the stages of the process, especially when the vacancy is open, evaluating the quality and diversity of applicants.
  • Successfully communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and support inbox management.
  • Contribute to larger-scale initiatives and perform other activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Education: University degree in Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or other relevant fields.

  • Experience: From 0 to 4 years of professional experience in Project Management and/or Talent Acquisition building pipelines of candidates.

  • Language: Fluency (level C) in English language is required.

DESIRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working in an international environment, as part of a multicultural and diverse team highly is desirable.

  • Knowledge in a second UN language is an advantage.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, with the aptitude to adapt communication style to the relevant audience.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at any time, while maintaining high standards of work on a tight schedule in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills – creative problem solver that can run analysis using different sources of information and deliver comprehensive, balanced and impactful analysis.

  • Comfortable analyzing in Excel, including manipulating data and visualization.

  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

  • Strong IT skills, proficient in using MS Office products (including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

  • Exceptional time management; proactive with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and ability to work in a multicultural, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

  • Highly motivated by the work WFP does and driven by the WFP Values (Integrity, Humanity, Inclusion, Commitment, Collaboration). Passionate about working in Talent Acquisition.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The selected candidate will be offered an initial contract for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

We offer an attractive monthly honorarium, medical insurance and 10 national holidays per calendar year.
