Role: Cloud Organisational Change Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
- As part of the Cloud Migration /Cloud Centre of Excellence team, the Organisational Change Manager will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technologies, with an emphasis on the cloud program.
- This person creates and delivers strategies and plans to help employees (individuals, teams, business functions/units and the organisation) maximize the adoption of cloud focusing on the impacts on adoption of a cloud first strategy and culture, Agile processes and practices aligned with DevOps in an outsourced/pay-per-service operating model, build agile ,change and cloud native skills and capabilities to drive operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities of the role:
- Lead and implement change initiatives related to cloud business processes and technologies.
- Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organisation in compliance with the Change Management methodology in operation
- Develop project strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organisation transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training.
- Oversee change team execution in accordance with project plans, tools, and methods, and support resource planning and acquisition.
- Develop short and long-term goals, KPIs, and objectives, and develop and execute against annual operational plan.
- Lead/facilitate meetings to ensure an understanding of the current company culture, and jointly develop a change adoption plan.
- Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
- Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of the Enterprise Business Transformation.
- Support the development of training programs to build required capabilities
- Collaborate with HR to align policies, processes and practices to support cloud ways of working
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:
Knowledge:
- BA or BS Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology
- Experience
- 5+ years of experience in organizational change management program design and implementation focused on technology-enabled/digital business transformation
- 5+ years of experience in project management and resource management
Skills:
- Must be a leader who can influence stakeholders in written and oral communications
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexible and adaptable able to work in ambiguous situations
- Forward looking with a holistic approach
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
