Mailroom Courier – Abha

Job Description

Role Purpose
Collect and deliver a variety of customer shipments within a given territory and time frame. Provide customers assistance and accurate information on their shipments and carry goods from them with appropriate and compete Paperwork
Competencies

  • Major Challenges: Dealing with aggressive situations, traffics problems, collecting and securing cash collections.
  • Degree of Supervision: Courier Leader and Supervisors.

Accountabilities

  • Collection and Delivery

Pickup and delivery deliver shipments safely and within the standard time frame. Prior with courier / collection all shipments must checked physically to ensure required paperwork's avail and shipments in condition to travel in transit / deliver to customer .

  • Reporting / Documentation

Prepare Debrief report at end of each working day. Complete all required paperwork for all collected shipments.

  • Quality of Service

Maintain and adhere all company standards related to personal appearance, vehicle cleanliness and paperwork prepared for customer shipments. Professional behavior and attitude attending customers.

  • Security

Ensure security of shipments, collected cash and company vehicle. Ensure to always use padlock on vehicles to secure customer shipments and company asset.

  • Sales and Customer Service

Deliver on time monthly invoices. Act as a messenger between customer and credit controllers in relaying customers queries in regard to billing and sell insurance on outbound shipments.

  • Sporh & SPR

Ensure target for SPORH / SPR maintained by individual courier, along with other PUD KPI.
High Secondary Education.

  1. Experience

2 years service-based experience with valid driving license.

  1. Technical Knowledge/Skills

Good command of English.
Basic knowledge of vehicles and its associated operating techniques.
Computer literacy preferable.

Establishing a course of action for self to accomplish goals. Establishing priorities on deliveries and pickups.

  1. Communication

Ability to communicate in most effective manner with customer and colleagues in the company. Convey clear and precise information to customers.

  1. Teamwork

Work effectively with the team. Support and help others in performing their jobs efficiently. Be a guide for new staff.
