Presales Manager

IRIS Technology, having main offices in Riyadh and Amman, and a local presence in various Middle Eastern countries, is a system integrator specializing in IT solutions for SMEs, Enterprises, and ISPs, servicing clients in the Middle East and the Gulf Council countries since 2011, partnering with industry giants in the fields of Cyber Security, Networking, Infrastructure, and Cloud Solutions.

The Pre-Sale manager will possess deep technical expertise combined with process control expertise. The Profile will develop collaborative technical relationships with customer prospects and develop solutions to meet their needs. This work includes architecting, designing, and presenting market-leading solutions, bills of materials (BOMs) and proposals, enterprise accounts, and channel partner sales experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze IT Infrastructure Services requirements for customers and design appropriate cost-effective services/solutions
  • Solutions/Service Design dealing with all components of an IT Infrastructure, Transition & Transformation (Technology & Services)
  • Evaluate, recommend, architect, and implement Services solutions to enhance the IT Infrastructure Services.
  • Participate and team up with sales, delivery, and Partner Managers to provide complete solutions to customers.
  • Responsible to build and propose transformational services to customers, identify triggers, identifying key IT Infrastructure issues which impact the business, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Build and develop a business case, provide relevant and sound business & technical advice to the customer and present the same to various stakeholders within the company.
  • Map competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies, often in conjunction with Partners.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly Product/service sales goals
  • Provide technical pre-sales support to various entities for the purpose of promoting and selling products/services. Entities include potential customers, existing customers, partners, and resellers. Pre-sales activities will also include close interaction with internal groups such as product management, marketing, and post-sales support.
  • Provide technical leadership to enterprise customers through a range of pre-sales support functions including, supporting product evaluations, pre-sales technical consultation, post-sales support advocacy, and proactive needs analysis.
  • Deliver technical presentations tailored for technical and non-technical audiences ranging from IT admins to executives and C-Level.
  • Deliver consistent product training, technology updates, release updates, and roadmap information.
  • Planning of sales strategies, positioning in contrast to the competitors and demonstrating the business
  • Preparation of presentations about the products or services with all their values for the usage of the sales department
  • Creation of marketing concepts
  • Coordination and organization of demand-generating activities like tradeshows, company events, or customer workshops
  • Engagement with the customers and interpretation of their needs and derivation of advice for prospective products that are aligned with the customers' demands

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's in IT-related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a presales consultant or manager
  • Must have excellent presentation skills and deep technical knowledge of mentioned technologies.
  • Hands-on functional understanding of multiple security platforms
  • A deep current and historical understanding of firewall and security architecture
  • Hands-on functional understanding of supporting technologies such as SSH, LDAP, Active Directory, Radius, TACACS, SIEM, and event correlation
  • Hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure along with certifications in Datacenter, Hybrid Cloud, Cyber Security, Networking, and major brands like Dell, VMWare, Fortinet, Cisco, Nutanix, Citrix, Microsoft, AWS & VEEAM.
  • Ability to travel
  • A high sense of urgency and deep interest in serving the customer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
