Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
Plumbing Design Engineer with minimum 5 years experience with 3 years in UAE/GCC of designing sanitary systems, domestic water reticulation, LPG, Fire Fighting systems with calculations to support.
Provide design advice including calculations for the following services
Reticulation of domestic hot & cold water.
Pressurized & gravity services.
Pressurized & treated process water distribution
Sanitary soil & waste collection system
LPG systems
Infrastructure (plot wide) layouts of any of the above
Fire fighting sprinkler & standpipes and inert gas protection systems.
Proven design experience using international standards such as NFPA, IPC, UPC , ASHRAE, CIBSE (any 3 at least)
Knowledge of fundamental laws of hydraulics and pumps.
Preparation of 100% Detailed design and for construction level documentation
Direct CAD staff and check produced work for compliance to his design..
Ability to read Architectural and structural drawings
Shop drawing review
Liaise and coordinate with other team members including architects and clients.
Design in accordance to local authority requirements and facilitate authority approval process
Knowledge of local authority sustainable building requirements such as DM GBR, Estidama
Fluency in English
Working knowledge in REVIT MEP will be an added advantage.
