الوصف الوظيفي
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure reliable and efficient operation of the Materials and Separations laboratories, including:
- Failure testing of materials
- Characterization of adsorbents and catalysts
- Testing of membranes in the pilot-testing unit
- Comply with HSE and Air Products standards of safety, housekeeping and maintenance of lab facilities and test equipment
- Use standard software tools to collect and analyze data, write reports, and present recommendations to technical and business stakeholders
- Manage, monitor and plan for preventive and operational maintenance of laboratory and pilot plant equipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving of samples and lab consumables

Required Skills and Experience
- The following skills and experiences are required:
- A technical degree in science or related field
- Fluency in written and spoken English for successful interaction with global colleagues
- Ability to collaborate successfully with colleagues with diverse backgrounds
- Beneficial experiences include:
- Work in a laboratory environment or a plant setting
- Maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting and repair of equipment
- Familiarity with quality control practices
- Materials science and failure analysis
- Adsorbent characterization
- Work with materials in cryogenic or in high-temperature services.
- Knowledge of carbon and nonferrous alloys, corrosion and welding fundamentals.
