Senior Design Engineer (Infrastructure)
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Responsibilities:
Review civil deliverables including but not limited to the following:

Deliverables related to ROW, Utility corridors and other related works.
Layouts for the Potable water, Fire water, Sewer and Storm water
Details of the Potable water, Fire water, Sewer and Storm water structures and details
Layouts for the telecom, MV/LV/Street lighting networks (Civil part only)
Layouts of the substations and details
Layouts of the Potable water, Fire water, Sewer and Storm water pump stations
Details of the Potable water, Fire water, Sewer and Storm water pump stations structures
Layout and details of the Utility protection and culvert
Coordination with the road work drawings
Typical and standard details
Civil design basis reports
Compound wall, fence and gates
Topography survey layouts
Earthwork and grading drawings

Ensure Compliance to Authority standards and specifications.
Maintain proper interface with existing infrastructure, ongoing and future projects.
Health, Safety & Environmental issues associated with the design.
Keep accurate record for the works completed.
Requirements

Degree in civil engineering from a reputable university
Minimum 10 years experience in infrastructure projects with at least 5 years working in the UAE in a similar position.
Possess knowledge of the Authority requirements and standards.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural engineering team.
Commitment to safe work practices
Ability to coordinate and meet with the Designers, Contractor's and Authorities.
