Job Profile:
The job holder is responsible to handle end to end daily recruitment processes, enabling DHL to attract & retain the key talent to achieve strategic objectives & to meet its resourcing requirements for today & the future. To source candidates through innovative & efficient means, that strengthens DHL's position as a preferred employer.
Accountabilities :
Human Resource Planning To handle current & forecasted human resources requirements in line with the Recruitment Manager. To recruit the required number of employees, with the required skills, at the required time. Plan and maintain a pipeline of candidates to avoid extended vacancies in key roles. To ensure that business critical roles are filled in the least amount of time.
- Recruitment Policies and Procedures are in place during employee selection & appointments are carried out in a structured & detailed way to meet HR policy, local legislation. Assess & review regularly to ensure standard processes are developed & productivity improvements made.
- Quality of Recruitment Practices To use selection methodology that enables DHL to test the candidate's ability & match, such as structured interviews, assessment centers behavioral-based questions & psychometric tools. To alter the assessment requirements in line with the job modernization.
- Reporting & Administration Provide comprehensive reports to record recruitment activities, cost of recruitment & retention periods of new hires. Provide additional reporting as the need arises by the Recruitment Manager. Manage CV's ensuring timely feedback of status of application to prospective candidates/employees. Prepare, send & handle contracts & other documents. Handle informal/formal networks to maximize opportunities.
- Vacancies Advertisements/Notices Plan & co-ordinate external/internal advertisements to target a suitable pool of candidates through appropriate channels, taking advantage of new technology where appropriate. To ensure advertisement aligns to the marketing brand positions & incorporates DHL's values & benefits to position DHL as an employer of choice.
- lead the recruitment & advertising cost line to ensure it is within budget & where possible look for cost saving initiatives.
- Visa Co-ordination with other collaborators within the Department for visa process/C&B details for all hires.
- Position Descriptions Assist in drafting in line with the respective managers & supervisors, to understand job specifications for recruitment, after acquiring approval from the HR Director/Area Office.
- Work Placements, Internships, Sponsorships and Career Fair In conjunction with the functional managers gauge requirements on short-term work projects to assign work placement students, interns and Accordingly coordinate with informative institutions on the placements also Coordinate and participate in Career Fairs, as approved by Line Manager.
- Other Supporting the HR team on other ad-hoc projects ( i.e. maintain company org chart, handle new joiners insurance card, email new joiners induction list).
