In this role you will support the management of the production facility and ensure customer demand is met on-time and in-full whilst ensuring all HSE, Quality, Cost and efficiency requirements are fulfilled.

Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to:

To provide leadership on Production HSE matters, ensuring excellence in housekeeping and compliance with procedures.
To support day-to-day production plan execution and revert back in case of any deviation
To create and maintain systems in line with the ISO management system ensuring procedures and work instructions are updated as required.
To monitor production performance and create routine performance reports
To monitor plant equipment effectiveness and ensure adequate maintenance performed.
Implement ideas and ensure achieve Fund to Growth target for the plant.
To establish and implement systems to monitor production yield and to implement improvements as required – Production optimization, Batch cycle time, Production Yield, 6S, Continuous Improvement
Continuously improve delivery performance to customers (OTIF) according to SLA targets.
Continuously improve LPM, batch yield.
Continuously improve stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
Meet and reduction plan of Waste, Energy and sustainable targets.

We’re looking for an experienced technically competent individual

Our ideal candidate will come from an international industrial or chemical environment.

You should also have the following qualifications:

Graduate or Diploma in Engineering in industrial, manufacturing or science related degree.
2+ years professional experience within a manufacturing company operating across multiple boarders with significant manufacturing and distribution footprint.
Preferable to have experience with ERP systems.
Experience in paint, coatings, chemicals or associated industries would be an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Effective communication skills to present & discuss forecasting information with product and business managers.
Disciplined and highly collaborative team player.
