ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Chief Operating Officer / Presales Manager directly supports the Pakistan and Afghanistan sales organizations, while also providing oversight to operational best practices to maximize revenue opportunities, oversight to presales management in providing excellent solution support, as well as setting up and running various programs.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
- Link market unit/area specific goals and execution plans with the rest of the organization and overall company goals monitor progress of strategic opportunities and accounts
- Act as a trusted advisor to sales and sales management providing input into deal qualification and strategy proactively participate in deal qualification and pipeline validation
- Develop concepts and processes for continuous improvements of operational procedure, tools, processes, and content
- Drive the strategy and coordinate all presales (industry, product, soft-skills) activities for the presales team – where possible across the ME-North cluster, in collaboration with presales managers of other ME-North countries.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 15+ years operational and / or management experience in Sales or Presales (or Strategic Consulting and / or Business Development) in Pakistan
- Excellent understanding of the specific business challenges and market drivers of specific solutions, in Pakistan and Afganistan
- Excellent ERP know-how combined with a strong SAP (partner) network as well as program management skills
- Ability to build c-level client relationships.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Engineering or MBA degree: business acumen, strategy planning, forecasting and general management
- SAP Solution knowledge and Pakistan and Afghanistan marketplace / competition knowledge
- Customer focused & explicit drive for execution
- Strongly collaborative and highly communitative
- Business level English and Urdu
