A Sales Engineer combines technical knowledge with sales skills. The balance depends on the level of technical knowledge and understanding needed to sell the product offered in response to customer needs and requirements. Sales Engineers are a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre and after-sales advice.

At UNITECH, Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. He must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Experience with aluminum façade and interior decoration products.
  • Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions;
  • Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
  • Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
  • Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts;
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education;
  • Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required;
  • Helping in the design of custom-made products;
  • Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing professional networks.

  • Principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
  • Knowledge and experience in Principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • Quick Learner, Creativity, Imagination, Sharpness, Socializing, Negotiating, Committed, Convincing & Challenging
  • Clear understanding of the construction sector Knowledge of design techniques, construction methods, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, drawings.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) with excellence in MS Excel.
  • High level in computer literacy allowing fast learning of new systems.
  • 2- 5 years experience in UAE
  • Valid UAE License
  • BSc Civil Engineering
