Analyst – Business Solutions | AL Futtaim Finance PV JSC | Information Technology
Overview of the role:
To proactively support the delivery, development and support of all Business Solution deliverables. “Business solutions” is a department that has been primarily setup to deliver the organization’s data and MIS requirements.
What you will do:
- Data Process Development – Continually develop and enhance the process to collect and transform data in order that it can be used in reporting tools such as SSRS/Qlik reports.
Report Development :
- Develop the Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports using in reporting tools such as SSRS/Qlik.
- Develop the ad hoc reports using in reporting tools such as SSRS/Qlik.
Batch Process Management :
- Continually develop and enhance the batch process.
- Manage and maintain the existing batch processing.
- Fully understand the 3 other core processes (ETL, Audit/History, and Maintenance) that are required to run the data warehouse.
- Qlik Administration – User maintenance, Report management, Environment management
- New Business Solution Delivery – Support the business solution leader
المهارات
Required Skills to be successful:
- Exposure in BI Tools/Products
- Knowledge of key MIS principles (Single version of truth, R&R, etc.)
- Develops MIS documentation, SOPs/ Operating Instructions to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance
- Experience in requirement gathering
Desirables:
- Qlik experience
- SQL Coding (queries, Stored procedures, functions, views etc.,)
- Deliver user training
- Working experience in SSRS
- Experience in Application development using .Net is added advantage
What equips you for the role:
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent combination of education and training
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience in IT environment
