National Aerospace & Defence Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Aerospace & Defence Manager to oversee and drive Aerospace vertical and its P&L, under business unit Air Logistics. The main activities involved are the following: business development, solution, budget and results. Primary focus on bottom line (NP2) and customer excellence (productivity, staff allocation and training). Your Role
You will have overall responsibility to grow the Aerospace market share and Aerospace products. You will be also responsible for the Aerospace division, Operations, products and commercial, setups and decisions and lead the Aerospace business solution and development for KN to ensure fulfilment of our mission and purpose. Your Responsibilities
- Manages / Guides / Owns development of Aerospace programs (KN EngineChain/ KN SparesChain etc) on a cluster level.
- Aerospace Development. Align Business inquiries and overall business development and Customer meetings with relevant Sales and BU stakeholders.
- Responsible for pricing (Create a AA pricing strategy in alignment with ZA-DR/ZA-D/RA-A).
- Ensure development of tactical & strategic business know-how and competence skills within the product.
- Apply knowledge of logistics and transportation methods, cost structures, service requirements, modes, tariffs, equipment, infrastructure and people availability in order to build optimal network design and optimize day-to-day business.
- Close communication with the Aerospace Network on product, commercial development and operational excellence.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Extensive experience in Aerospace and Air Logistics market specifics incl. their relevant verticals.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant filed Master or MBA degrees preferred to have.
- Very good communication and negotiating skills Arabic preferred to have.
- Self-motivated & able to work on own initiatives.
- General management and sales skills.
- Demonstrate Leadership with a high level of communication, a customer solutions orientation, and a change management mind-set.
- Time management and conflict resolution skills are critical to the role and the ability to deal with different culture background.
