Data Center Engineer
- Monitoring systems operations and IT solutions to ensure servers, hard drives, and other data center equipment function efficiently.
- Installing (mounting) Servers, Networking devices.
- Configure SAN and NAS storage.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot EMC VNXE devices
- Monitor and troubleshoot EMC Data Domain devices
- Monitor and troubleshoot Pure Storage Arrays
- Dell servers and IDRAC Experience
- Configure Raid in servers.
- Troubleshoot windows & Linux Servers.
- Configure Storage Replication.
- Storage & Backup Capacity Monitoring & Planning.
- Inspect power/cooling to identify and fix flaws that may be detrimental to network performance.
- Responsible in Electrical systems and UPS at a data center.
- Perform backup and troubleshoot solutions using EMC Networker, Veeam, Rubrik.
- Prepare and configure Backup Plans and reporting using Veeam one.
- Troubleshot any failed backup jobs and fix it.
- Update Veeam and Rubrik Systems to latest version and install agent on all servers.
- Monthly test Restore backup jobs from all systems.
- Monitoring Fire Alarm Systems in Datacenter.
- Responsible for the installation of the racks.
- Management of the Datacenter, in the provision of infrastructure & inventory Asset management.
المهارات
- Bachelor’s Degree in information Technology or related field.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Veeam Availability Suite v11: Configuration and Management.
- Minimum CCNA Data Center Certified.
- Pure Storage Administration Associate is a Plus
- Strong organizational skills.
