1. General tasks

  • Preparing the department's strategic plan proposal and contributing to its development and preparing and following up the implementation of operational plans to ensure their balance with the administration's objectives.
  • Establishing principles and controls for managing and directing operations and improving productivity.
  • Strengthening relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the provision of services in accordance with the best standards.
  • Develop programs that promote continuous learning, develop, train and motivate work teams to ensure that services are provided of the highest quality.
  • Periodic follow-up of performance indicators and preparation of reports of achievement percentages in the department and submitting them to the director of the department.
  • Participate in preparing the department's budget in coordination with the competent units in the entity.
  • Providing the necessary support to the director of the department and carrying out any other tasks assigned to him.

2. Specialized tasks

  • Supervising the development of policies, standards and plans, preparing rules, regulations and technical instructions that should be followed in the field of occupational health and safety, and coordinating with the concerned authorities.
  • Supervising the monitoring of the implementation of the requirements and standards of labor housing and occupational safety in coordination with the competent authorities.
  • Supervising the preparation of a plan for the distribution of inspectors to carry out periodic inspections of establishments in accordance with the management plan and supervising its implementation on establishments of all kinds and their work sites to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the law and decisions that regulate health aspects and provide prevention of work injuries.
  • Supervising and following-up on programs aimed at providing workers with information and guidance on occupational health and safety that aim to spread a culture of awareness among workers regarding occupational health and safety requirements and standards in various work sites.
  • Supervising the control reports of facilities in the event of a violation of occupational health and safety requirements at work sites and taking precautionary measures to prevent the risk of injuries and diseases.
  • Supervising the process of correcting violations and abuses at work sites and ensuring compliance with the requirements and requirements of occupational health and safety at work sites.
  • Supervising communication and coordination with government and local agencies regarding partnerships and coordinating work tasks and joint projects in the field of occupational health and safety at work sites.
  • Supervising the preparation and analysis of periodic statistics on occupational health and safety activity and submitting recommendations and proposals regarding them to the director of the department.
  • Supervising the follow-up of complaints and communications received from workers and employers, and working to address and resolve them in accordance with the approved procedures

المهارات

Education:

· Bachelor degree or above, major in civil engineering/structure engineering or related, or practical experience in a large automotive company

Skills & Competencies:

· The ability to think methodically and problem-solving skills

· Arabic fluency (locals of Jeddah or KAEC is preferred)

· English fluency

Minimum Experience:

· 5 years
