KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
• Provide technical support and assist in the development and implementation of various activities and processes within the school feeding area of work, supporting alignment with wider WFP programme policies and guidelines.
• Oversee and take responsibility for the WFP’s School Feeding Programme in Magway, Mandalay and Sagaing Regions and Chin State.
• Provide specialized project management support to school feeding programe to ensure that the activities are performed within the established targets following WFP's policies and procedures.
• Within the specific area of responsibility, prepare a range of reports and data analysis, identifying needs, resource utilization, program status, performance and highlight trends/issues ensuring deliverables adhere to corporate standard and quality control.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external counterparts including development partners, UN agencies, NGOs, private sectors and other stakeholders to support effective implementation and monitoring of the School Feeding Programme (SFP).
• Regular communication with counterparts and stakeholders under Pakokku area office for the planning, monthly distribution plan, monthly distribution report, cash request and reconciliation report, pipeline situation, call forward and BBU of food
• Support capacity strengthening of WFP staffs and staffs from stakeholders and counterparts in the area of school feeding including assistance of High Energy Biscuits, School Meal, School Garden and other activities related to School Feeding Programme.
• Liaise with Country Office School Feeding Unit and Pakokku Area Office Logistics unit for the cash / food pipeline, call forward and food transport to project townships.
• Provide support and guidance to Cooperating Partners (CP) for the preparation of proposal and to ensure that CP submitted proposal through UNPP within given timeframe. Facilitate with CP to revise proposal and budget as per PRC comments if needed.
• Ensure necessary data entries in COMET and timely requesting and reporting of FLA/Partnership, Food Release Notes, Food/Cash requests, Monthly Distribution Reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of start up advance requests and operational payment requests from CP.
• Act as a focal point for resolution of a range of operational queries and issues within the technical area of school feeding
• Conduct field visit to project implemented townships and meet and coordinate with respective stakeholders and counterparts to ensure smooth and effective cooperation in implementing the projects.
• Follow standard emergency preparedness practices to ensure WFP is able to quickly respond and deploy needed resources to affected areas at the onset of the crisis.
• Performed any other related duties as required.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.
Experience: Six or more years of responsible programme experience.
Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in the UN language in use at the duty station and in the duty station’s language, if different.

• Has worked with technical teams (i.e. nutrition, VAM, etc.).
• Has contributed to implementation of programmes.
