Job Description
We are looking for Kitchen Supervisor / Restaurant Manager in Sharjah, UAE . Below are the details :-
Responsibilities:-
- The Kitchen Assistant Manager should be able to control monthly food costs, fully analyze the operations to eliminate wastage, & implement procedures.
- Manage the operation of the kitchen, issue of stock, stock rotation, month-end reports and stock counts and compilation of monthly reports in order to eliminate loss and waste.
- Train the kitchen staff, develop the menu, oversee food preparation and supervise all kitchen staff.
- Perform as main contact for all matters related to kitchen production.
- Arrange kitchen employee work schedules involving lunch and other breaks.
- Maintain productive kitchen ambience using charts, forms, lists and recipes.
- Daily management of the Waste & Sustainability Attendants.
- Monitor the kitchens cleaning schedules performing random spot checks
Requirements:-
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, HACCP systems, health standards and nutrition.
- Implementing high quality hygiene and sanitization standards in the kitchen.
- International Experience.
- Good menu costing capabilities.
- Procurement experience is a bonus Person Traits.
- A hands-on creating forms and reports for checking the safety and quality of the food production and other requirements.
- Able to work with suppliers and secure excellent produce at the best possible prices able to work with and accommodate different cultures.
- Excellent customer contact skills/ socially confident.
- Plans and organizes effectively.
- Must be willing to relocate to Muweilah, Sharjah.
Qualification:-
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Kitchen Management or certification from culinary school.
- Food safety and hygiene certification, ideally in HACCP and PIC.
- To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of proven Previous experience working as Kitchen Assistant Manager is vital and experience in culinary management is an advantage.
- Skills in MS word and excel
- Team Leader,Loyal, friendly, down to earth and energetic.
