Sub Contracts Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a Subcontracts Manager to join our team based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
You'll be reporting to the MEET Director of Subcontracts and Procurement (and / or his designee), and may be assigned to projects as necessary This position requires extensive experience in managing Project contracts and understanding of contract terms, intent and application.
Reporting is a key requirement of the role to ensure accurate forecasting of contract deliverables and be responsible for proactively managing their own workload.
Key tasks and responsibilities – what you'll be doing

  • EPC Contract management is critical for this role and understanding of end-to-end contract placement to close out.
  • Core skills in contract management, administration and claims resolution.
  • Strengths in drafting contracts and legal understanding of contract risk and the key clauses for contract execution and successful delivery of projects
  • Integrates cost forecasting and planning for subcontracts management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract resolution skills.
  • Strong influencing, communication, and facilitative skills, including cross cultures and geographies,
  • Ability to bring teams together to achieve targets and goals with clarity on action planning
  • Ability to work cross functionally within Client
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical and non-technical information, internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of macro-economic factors
  • Financial and Business acumen
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note) and collaborative tools.
  • Good Knowledge of SAP and requisition to pay processes

Importance

  • MRICS and / or MCIPS
  • Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Mechanical / Civil) degree is advantageous.
  • Master of Business Administration is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience working in an EPC / Oil and Gas company.
  • Experience in contracts and contractual language.
  • Excellent oral and written English proficiency is a must. Second language is advantageous.
