- Implementation, Integration, Testing & Support of Multiple Vendor Optical transmission system such as SDH, DWDM, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS-TP and its relative DCN / NMS system and wireless Lan system
- Customer support 24/7 for all deployed networks.
- Opening case tickets with vendor for technical support.
- Repair and Return of faulty hardware.
- Site surveys.
- HW/SW inventory based from Work Order BOQ
- Provide project updates/report and technical documentation.
- Establish and maintain good customer-relation. IV. Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with Team Leader for Optical transmission and wireless lan projects execution.
- Responsible for site installation, optical equipment configurations, commissioning and acceptance of METCO partnered systems.
- Performs site activities related to Optical transmission system in a timely manner and applying the installation procedures and quality standards.
- Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting optical system problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
- Conduct and Validate H/W and S/W inventory prior to deliver on site.
- Preparation of as –built documents and update necessary site documents and reports.
- Shall be able to analyse, trouble shoot and take remedial action for the optical system outages.
- Perform cut over and on call Maintenance work.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with peer leaders and customers.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Direct Manager or Executive Manager. I. Job Requirements:

المهارات
Education : – BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering or Equivalent.
Experience : – At least 3-5 years of experience related to IP network system. – Arabic & English communication.
Skills :
- Technical knowledge in Optical transmission, wireless lan, SDH, DWDM, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS-TP and its relative DCN and NMS.
- Knowledgeable in using methodology prescribed techniques and “best practices” for Optical transmission and wireless lan projects upon deployment.
Other skills :
- Perform as a Team Player

- Holding a valid Kuwait driving license
- Customer Service Skills
- Interfacing Vendors support when required.
