الوصف الوظيفي
- Be responsible for compliance with legislation relating to the Harbour as a statutory and competent harbour authority.
- Ensure hydrographic surveys of the bar, the approach channel, the turning basin and enclosed dock are conducted at regular intervals.
- Ensure maintenance dredging is undertaken as required to maintain the advertised depth at the bar, the approach channel, the turning basin and enclosed dock
- Ensure monitoring of Safe Working Procedures is carried out at regular intervals.
Ensure a high standard of housekeeping of all floating plant and harbour areas. - Ensure all maintenance and inspections of the Port’s floating plant, equipment and harbour infrastructure is carried out in accordance with established procedures.
- Carry out the duties of Deputy Port Security Officer as and when required
- Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required by the Port Manager.

المهارات
- 3-5 years of experience in same caliber
- Having GCC experience will be an added advantage
- Should have bachelors Degree
- Ability to form excellent working relationships and demonstrate competency in people management.
- Effective interpersonal skills including negotiating, motivating and conciliating.
- Ability to develop practical and innovative solutions in marine and harbour operations.
- Ability to persuade and influence at all levels within the organisation and partner organisations.
